Project Beauty 360

What is Project Beauty?

It's a movement to show ... "we are enough....just as we are".
Life races by at the speed of light, social media consistently reminds us that there is always something new just on the horizon - whether that be fashion oriented, makeup-related, or the newest tech thing on the block - everything is new and improved. There are so many expectations to do this, and be that. Our perceived imperfections are what make us who we are....perfect just the way we are. Nothing more, nothing less. Inner beauty is a strength and an asset.

Let's take a moment to stop and say ... "Hey - I am more than enough without any of those things. I am perfect just the way I am. These photos bring it back to a basic white shirt and jeans, no makeup, no fancy hair, just you - raw and beautiful.

Welcome to Project Beauty.

Be real, be you. You're worth it - and you're fabulous!  - Carole

Our very first 2018 Senior Rep Session

Our very first 2018 Senior Rep Session

In January we held our very first Class of 2018 Senior Street Team Session, at that time I had these 4 fantastic girls on the team. The sun was shining and we headed up to Manhattan Square Park in Rochester to ice skate, drink hot chocolate and more.

Makenna, Ally, Tori and Lexi spent a few hours with me skating while I tried to follow them around on the ice taking pictures! I'm pretty sure the girls had fun getting to know each other :)
I think that is one of the benefits of being a Street team rep - making new connections, meeting new people.

I feel very lucky to have these girls represent HSS. Looking forward to each and every session with them.

I love what I do! I have a passion for it and I strive to always keep learning new trends that bring the best to what I do. Whether it is posing, lighting, new fashion styles or new techniques - senior photography is ever evolving. Senior Style Guide is a pretty well-known publication if you are a Senior Photographer and being highlighted in it is a special honor. Last summer I spent time in Charleston, South Carolina shooting with SSG and a few of those images were published in their Fall Issue. Thank you SSG!

Modern Teen Session - Austin, TX

Modern Teen Session - Austin, TX

These days much attention is given to Senior sessions and I personally LOVE senior sessions! But I need to pose the question - why should seniors have all the fun? Portrait sessions can focus on any age group - no need to wait to become a senior! While I was on a trip to Austin, Texas last year, I shot a modern teen session. Teens today have so many ideas and are genuinely creative - and I love capturing it! Let's think outside the box and schedule your teen session today.

Wintertime is funtime!

New Year's Eve 2016 with an ice skating day in Rochester, NY.

Two of my 2017 seniors and one of my 2018 street team members joined me for this shoot. For January in Upstate NY - we could not have asked for better weather! Sunshine, hot chocolate, tutus and friends ... what a way to end 2016. Happy New Year everyone!

As we were leaving the Zamboni driver stopped to ask if I could take his photo - I love this job!

Avon Braves Football

I love shooting sports.

In fact, my photography career began shooting sports along the sidelines of a football field. Having 4 boys, much time has been spent on a baseball diamond, football, soccer or lacrosse field. It's my way of keeping in touch with them and their world. The Athletic Director and coaches have been great giving me access to the fields to shoot all of teams! Two of my favorite sports to shoot are football and lacrosse. The constant action is challenging but the rewards of capturing "the shot" are exciting.
